Great services to get your business online

It’s not often you get something for nothing but that is pretty much what we’re offering!

You can have your own domain name registered for free, a complete website to go with it, email addresses that work  on your domain and a free VOIP line with geographic number in your area.  There are no subscription costs, no deferred fees, no obligation to renew, no annoying ads on your web site – the services are provided free-of-charge for a year with full control by you.

Additionally, we will provide you with many other free or heavily subsidized services to select from on an ongoing basis, and more importantly with valuable information and contacts to help reduce your costs and grow your business online as quickly as possible.

Great benefits to help grow your business

Not only have we put together a great package of free services to get your businesses online and help you communicate effectively with your customers, we’ve also arranged a comprehensive range of information and business supports to go with it.

As well as expanding our portfolio of services, we’ll be sending you regular articles and information on smart ways to promote and market your business online, and on how to get the most out of your website. We will even call you every now and then (if you like) to see how you are getting along. We can also put you in contact with local business support agencies and networks in your area, and keep you posted on useful events happening in your locality.

who can apply?

All businesses based in Ireland or Northern Ireland can sign-up to the Getting Irish Business Online initiative, irrespective of size.

It is open to sole traders, partnerships, or registered companies, or where the business is in the process of being established.

The principle requirement is that the domain and hosting must be used as your main web presence (if you already have a domain, you can use this instead) and that the services provided are used for genuine business purposes only by the sign-up person or company. Applicants may only sign up once.

The initiative is not currently open to individuals for private use or for use by clubs, societies or other similar organizations.

Other than that, there are very few restrictions.
